IS IT TRUE THAT YOU GIVE YOUR CLIENTS THEIR WORKOUT TO TAKE HOME AFTER EACH LESSON?

While some trainers may give you a single programme to follow outside of what you do together, we keep a notebook containing all your workouts and progress available at a glance. You can refer back to repeat workouts on your own or mix them up depending on your session objectives.

WHAT EQUIPMENT WILL I LEARN TO USE?

A big part of any programme is gaining confidence with free weights – that means learning when and how to use things like barbells, plates, dumb bells, kettle bells and the cable machine. If appropriate to your skill level (and amount you can lift) this will include the plate loaded barbells and smith machine. Because we are working in a gym environment we may also use some of the fixed resistance machines.

The question is do YOU guarantee success. I only work with people who are committed to learning the tools to achieve their objective. If you follow my programmes I guarantee you will improve positively towards your goal – or your money will be refunded. I can certainly guarantee you will be stronger and more confident in putting together your own exercise programme.

I AM JUST RETURNING TO OR HAVE JUST JOINED THE GYM – WILL I BE OVERWHELMED BY THE PROGRAMME.

When you first start coming to the gym you need to worry about two things – building confidence and consistency. That’s exactly what this programme will do. It will help you build consistency by having you at the gym twice a week, and confidence by working with a qualified trainer who can make sure you are lifting the right weight for your level and learning simple but effective exercise combinations. You will absolutely not be doing things beyond your ability, simply gaining strength and confidence, and enjoying yourself along the way.

CAN I KEEP TRAINING WITH YOU AFTER THE PROGRAMME?

Absolutely, after the training we can discuss the frequency of sessions that might be right for you.

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AMOUNT OF TIME I NEED TO BE ON A PROGRAMME?

Programmes vary from 8 – 12 weeks ongoing. The can be tailored to your requirements.
